fact for today

- Nonresponders. About 30-35% of Rh- negative individuals can not be immunized by Rh-positive antigens. This characteristic seems to be genetically controlled but depends on the amount of the inoculum to a certain degree.

Doesn`t that just suck?

  • You kind of disappeared from this blog. :) How did your pregnancy go? Did you end up needing any extra treatment?

I'm in a slightly similar situation. I was mysteriously senstized some time between about 12 wks and 28 wks with my second child (no known reason, which is really ironic and frustrating). I always wanted a "large" family (well, at least more than 2) and am trying to weigh the different outcome possibilities to decide if we should try another pregnancy. I would very much appreciate any insight from a woman who has already "been there"!
